Evan 'Mac' [[INVALID_TOKEN]] Meade

Mac Meade, a Johnson City native, is the son of the firm founder, Evan Meade. Before joining Evan Meade & Associates in 2007, he practiced for one and a half years with the Knox County Public Defenders Community Law Office in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he gained extensive courtroom experience.

While in law school, he was the Founding President of the UT College of Law chapter of the American Association for Justice and Tennessee Association for Justice. He was also named most outstanding student in both “Advanced Trial Advocacy” and the Legal Clinic.

 

Christopher [[INVALID_TOKEN]] Rodgers

Christopher D. Rogers was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of Upper East Tennessee. From an early age, he was determined to pursue a career in law. He received an undergraduate degree in political science from East Tennessee State University.

Rogers then moved to Nashville where began helping individuals through the Tennessee General Assembly. While working in Nashville, he attended law school. Rogers wanted to give back to the communities in which he lived and learned. He understood the importance of advocating for people who could not advocate for themselves, and he wanted to do it in an area he loved.

After passing the bar exam, Rogers began handling cases in East Tennessee.

Rogers goal is to give a voice to individuals in need and works tirelessly to make sure their rights are protected. He isn’t afraid to ask the difficult questions in handling a case and works hard to ensure a solution is reached.

When he isn’t practicing law in Tennessee, Rogers spends time on the lake. He enjoys politics and continues to be involved in matters of local and regional importance to him. He takes pride in being from East Tennessee and wants to give back to the community that raised him.

Evan Meade is an East Tennessee native with roots in Sullivan, Washington, and Carter Counties, as well as Avery County North Carolina and Southwest Virginia. In 1977, he began practicing law with Legal Services, helping those who could not afford a lawyer. In 1979, he founded Evan Meade & Associates in Johnson City, which is now Meade Injury Law Group. Since then, he has began practicing injury law.

Evan has presented numerous lectures for the Tennessee Association for Justice and other bar associations on various topics such as:

  • Workers Compensation
  • Trial tips
  • ERISA subrogation issues
  • Tenncare subrogation reduction techniques
  • Medicare subrogation topics

He also has the distinction of holding one of the record paid State Court jury verdicts in both Washington County Tennessee and Carter County Tennessee.

Karen [[INVALID_TOKEN]] Tamer Paralegal

Karen Lynn Tamer joined the team as a legal assistant in 2018 to support the attorneys with personal injury cases. A typical day involves everything from the initial client intakes and maintaining case files to preparing medical summaries and drafting necessary documents. Prior to joining the firm, she devoted two decades refining her skills in the service industry while raising a family. She credits that time along with being raised in a small town in Virginia at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains to gifting her with an undeniable connection to people and the desire to help them in times of need. Outside of work you will likely find her frolicking along the Nolichucky River by day and enjoying the local live music scene by night.

 

Katie [[INVALID_TOKEN]] Inscore Legal Assistant

Katie Inscore joined the Meade Law Group team as a legal assistant in 2019 to support the attorneys with criminal cases as well as personal injury cases. She was raised in a small town on the outskirts of the Tri-Cities, known as Chuckey, TN. She graduated from ETSU with a degree in Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Psychology. Because she is so passionate about the criminal justice system, her dream is to become an attorney and practice in criminal defense. Katie loves spending time with her husband and their two dogs, attending concerts, and is a big fan of reality TV.
